History

Open Software Technology started in New Jersey, USA in the year 1994 as software consulting and Development Company catering to mainly large Wall Street Firms and Fortune 500 clients. It started its Indian operations in 1998. OST, after its Indian operations, went into a major expansion mode and eventually had offices in the whole of North America, Europe, India and Australia.

Open Software Technology is an expert in building high quality systems utilizing Client/Server, RDBMS, and Web based and front-end solutions. OST has a resourceful collaboration of dedicated and highly qualified computer professionals whose expertise encompasses but is not limited to C++, Front End Development, Web-enabled Systems, Sybase, Oracle and Business Objects. Besides these skills, OST works in niche areas in Reporting and BI solutions and works extensively in these areas specially Actuate, one of the leading solutions globally. In fact, OST was the largest consulting partner of Actuate Corporation globally with offices and practices in all the continents of the globe. In the year 2000, it merged with Actuate Corporation and Open Software Technology, India became an independent company.
